ABSTRACT

Tuberculous bursitis in an immunocompetent patient is rare and needs a high index of suspicion for accurate diagnosis and management. We present a case of tubercular bursitis of the left greater trochanter in a 45 year old female, which was diagnosed on histopathology after surgical debridement and biopsy of the lesion.
